The process begins with a site visit.

During this phase, the product, production processes, and system boundaries are reviewed in detail. The scope of the EPD study is clearly defined, and the most appropriate PCR (Product Category Rules) is selected. This step is essential to ensure accuracy, consistency, and comparability throughout the study.

Applicable PCRs and, where relevant, complementary PCRs (c-PCRs) are thoroughly assessed.

International EPD programs, methodological requirements, and reporting rules are clarified, forming the technical backbone of the study.

The structure of the EPD report is designed in line with GPI rules and relevant standards.

Key indicators, tables, narratives, and technical annexes are defined and aligned with internal teams, ensuring that data collection and analysis follow the correct structure from the outset.

Data collection is carried out through site visits and close coordination with relevant teams.

A product-specific Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) is developed, covering raw materials, energy use, transport, and other relevant inputs. Allocation rules and assumptions are clearly defined at this stage.

Based on the collected data, the product life cycle model is built using SimaPro.

The system structure is established, and calculations are performed using internationally recognized databases and methodologies.

Environmental impacts are assessed in accordance with the selected methodology.

Impact categories, calculation approaches, and data management practices are finalized to ensure scientific robustness and consistency of results.

The calculated impacts are analyzed in depth.

Uncertainty analysis (Monte Carlo), sensitivity analyses, and result interpretation are conducted.

Where appropriate, improvement opportunities to enhance environmental performance are identified and documented.
