The principles and procedures regarding the registration of the work experience certificates obtained from the construction works carried out by domestic or foreign real persons and legal entities by committing to the public or private sector abroad within the scope of a contract involving a price have been regulated in EKAP in order to certify that they meet the conditions.
Registration applications are made by the document holders or their authorised representatives who wish to register their work experience certificates to EKAP, using the request form to be obtained through EKAP. Along with the work experience certificate requested to be registered, the underlying contract, the acceptance minutes of the work and the documents showing that they are legally authorised to make an application must be attached to the request form.
The work experience certificate submitted for registration must be submitted to the institutions and organisations authorised to issue documents in order to document the work experience in relation to other works carried out abroad, in accordance with the legislation of that country, the name or title of the owner of the work, the place and nature of the work, the name or title of the contractor, the name or title of those who are actually involved in the supervision or management activities, the contract price and date and the date of completion of the work.
If the original or notarised copies of the contract and acceptance minutes are in a foreign language, the translations must be made by sworn translators, and the original or notarised copies bearing the name and surname of the sworn translator and the annotation indicating that the document has been faithfully translated from the original language in which the document was prepared must be submitted. If these translations are made in Turkey, no other condition other than the annotation is required. Translations made in foreign countries must be certified in accordance with the fourth paragraph of Article 31 of the Regulation together with the annotation.
Since the documents required for registration are many and varied and the legislation is complicated, it would be better if these applications are made on behalf of the aforementioned persons and organisations by professionals who are experts in their fields.
